C'est juste le budget alcool d'Eckho pour le trimestre.

Hi French coaches,
just some comments on the 282,000€. This number includes EVERYTHING. Also the miniatures and pitches and also the airport shuttle busses, which were all paid extra from the participants and was not included in the ticket fee.

People on FB complain about my statement that I can't publish the details, but this is because we have contracts with venue, miniature manufacturer, pitch manufacturer, dice producer and other companies involved, who gave us a discounts and they don't want this be known by the public.... without these discounts we would have reached the half-million euro easily.

As Tulkas wrote, I'll be at the Bowl des Neiges next year and you can ask me any question you like, I'll try to answer all of them (as long as you ask me in English or German )

The numbers of the first cost estimate were created January 2017. The final numbers of the ticket prices were announced in July 2018. In the meantime many many things changed or were added or we just did a better recalculation.

Trust me, if you do an estimate on an event of unknown size (back in 2016/17 we did not know how many people we will get) and you need to think about things you usually don't have to worry about when running a smaller even, your first estimate will be way too low. Or would you know how much taxes you'd need to pay? E.g. in Austria there are 3 different tax rates: 7%, 13% and 20%. Try figuring this out by yourself... we had to take a professional tax advisor (the first one we had, was an incompetent idiot and we had to pay a penalty to the government). Legal fees for founding the official club was much higher in Austria than what I knew from Germany (1500€ compared to 60€).... all these small things just add up. So if you have your first estimate spot on, you must be a magician or a professional cost estimator of sports events... I'm not either of them

Pas de soucis, l'évènement étant clairement hors norme, c'était dur de budgétiser à l'euro près.
