Problème avec Maelstrom Games.

Il y a un problème avec cette boite, je conseille de ne plus acheter chez eux...

J'ai personnellement fait 2 achats chez eux il y a un certain temps et je n'ai pas de nouvelles.
Je les ais contactés et pas de nouvelles.

Now I am no legal expert (insert a 'Loken' here) or a financial advisor, however it is becoming increasingly clear here in the UK that the company has pretty much had it.

Which as an advocate for independents is a massive blow. I'm also aware that before GW changed it's business policy. these were the go-to-guys for my 'Southern Hemisphere' brethren out there

En suivant les liens ci dessus, on trouve l'accès à un site (http://eye-of-the-storm.co.uk/) qui est la copie conforme du site Maëlstrom Games.
Il semble donc que cette société tente d'arnaquer tous les gens possibles jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit mise en liquidation (anglaise) et ensuite ait déjà recommencé à faire du bizz sous une autre structure légale...

C'est pas joli tout ça...

PS : j'ai entamé une procédure Paypal pour récupérer ma thune.

je profite du post pour signaler que je me suis fait enfler par un gars sur ebay.
on a commencé des négo sur ebay.
là dessus les vacances sont arrivées, ça a trainé.
il m'a proposé d'autres figs ne figurant pas sur ebay, j'étais ok.
j'ai effectué le règlement directement pour l'ensemble, du coup je ne suis pas passé par ebay.
depuis nada, silence radio.

Si tu as payé par Paypal, tu peux quand même créer un litige et te faire rembourser via Paypal.

le pire c'est qu'il envoie toujours des mailing pour des réductions sur les produits qu'il a soit disant en stock

Bizarre, j'ai jamais eu de soucis avec Maelstrom Games, et j'ai souvent commandé chez eux.
Je sais qu'ils ont eu pas mal de soucis d'approvisionnement à cause de GW ces derniers temps, sans compter leur déménagement dans de nouveaux locaux, donc ton problème vient peut-être de là.
Bref, à suivre.

En gros, ils demandent aux gens qui ont déjà payé d'attendre que leurs prochaines ventes leur permettent de dégager assez d'argent pour honorer les commandes.

So, the story so far:

1) Maelstrom have been a bit dodgy about fulfilling their orders for a while now. Mostly fine, but sometimes awful (as far as I can gather).
2) Maelstrom had a big sale stating that they needed funds to fulfill existing orders.
3) A brand new company has appeared called Eye of the Storm which is owned by the same people (person?) and has a near identical website: http://www.eye-of-the-storm.co.uk/index.php?act=pur (this company might have been in existence for some time but the website is a recent development)
4) Maelstrom have officially stopped taking orders and issued a statement: http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/
5) Some people had outstanding orders with Maelstrom. Some of them might get the money back from Paypal or their credit cards, others won't.

Cette bande d'ordures ont fait un site miroir avec une nouvelle boite (Eye Of the Storm), et ont incité les gens à acheter chez Maelstrom Games avant de mettre la société en liquidation.

Ce sont des escrocs.
